Kudos from Scott Canty:
"I just love this new fresh version of the myth of Leda and the Swan. Leda and the Swan is a motif from Greek Mythology in which Zeus comes to Leda in the form of a Swan to have his way with her. Throughout art history, artists have created this theme in various ways but always depicting the woman as an idealized beauty. In this rendition, however, the artist chooses a large overweight woman. The foot touching down, the gaze on the face, and the swan's feather held behind her back pique our interest. Could this be a missed opportunity or a remembrance of what was? The work is a beautiful depiction of this classic with a twist."
